This fall, for the first time in nine years since their last appearance in the USA, DREAMS COME TRUE will come to America to perform “THE NIGHT WITH DREAMS COME TRUE in the USA”, their special set pulled from the “DREAMS COME TRUE WONDERLAND 2011” series. On this US tour, DREAMS COME TRUE will perform their songs in Japanese. Yes, Miwa Yoshida will be singing in Japanese in the USA.
“DREAMS COME TRUE WONDERLAND 2011, THE NIGHT WITH DREAMS COME TRUE in the USA supplied by POCARI SWEAT” will tour three major North American cities. The American tour starts in LA on Saturday, October 1st, followed by a show in Seattle on Wednesday, October 5th, and finally ending with two shows on Sunday, October 9th, and Monday October 10th in New York City.
Along with the WONDERLAND tour, DREAMS COME TRUE has been offering a special concert series called “THE NIGHT WITH DREAMS COME TRUE”, in which fans can enjoy the music in a more intimate setting. This special show will be performed in Okinawa. Immediately following this performance, the band will travel to America to perform “THE NIGHT WITH DREAMS COME TRUE” in Los Angeles, Seattle and New York.
In 2000, DREAMS COME TRUE performed the WONDERLAND tour in Taiwan; however, this will be their first time taking the special “THE NIGHT WITH DREAMS COME TRUE” show abroad. In 2002, they toured internationally with the “2002: monkey girl odyssey us-mix”, “2002: monkey girl odyssey west coast-mix” shows. These shows were performed completely in English. On the upcoming US tour, the vocalist, Miwa Yoshida, will perform all of the songs in Japanese providing a unique opportunity for both Japanese and non-Japanese fans living in America to enjoy the songs in Japanese.
This is a big year for the WONDERLAND tour and an exciting challenge for DREAMS COME TRUE. Yoshida and Nakamura are eagerly anticipating the American Tour and the ways this experience will offer DREAMS COME TRUE another opportunity to evolve. (Press release by DCT records, Inc)
