Mazda is preparing to launch a stylish, eco-friendly, fun-to-drive five-door hatchback, the 2011 Mazda2. Small zippy and efficient, loaded with style and substance, the 2011 Mazda2 will make it's premier into the US market late in the summer of 2010.
Originally launched in 2007, the new MAZDA2 was first introduced in Europe, Japan and Australia. While developing the new Mazda2, Mazda took a thorough look at global trends and carefully worked to identify the truly beneficial values that could be infused into a global subcompact car. These benefits have not gone unnoticed by the public, who have snatched up over 370,000 units in the three years since its introduction in other parts of the world.
The new Mazda2 has sleek exterior lines that show well when viewed from all angles, producing a sporty and elegant appearance despite its small size. Small in demeanor on the exterior, the interior is surprisingly roomy. Under the hood, the Mazda2 has a 1.5L motor and cornering maneuvers are aided a highly regarded suspension system, which has MacPherson struts at the front and a torsion-beam axle at the rear.
The affordable new Mazda2 is sure to provide an invigorating spark of performance, energy and subtlety giving drivers instant satisfaction. INFO: www.mazdausamedia.com
