Located in Kyoto, it has all the modern luxuries that most hotels in the US have including shower, bed, lounge, even locker rooms. It is a modern 9 story hotel with 125 rooms. All this for only ¥ 4900 night! But before you make a reservation you had better read on. This hotel is what is known in Japan as a Kappuseru Hoteru (Capsule Hotel).

The actual sleeping quarters is a capsule hence the name approximately 4 feet wide by 7 feet long. The 9 hours concept refers to the time management as follows: 1 hour shower, 7 hours sleep, 1 hour rest/prep = 9h. Oyasuminasai!
