Ingredients (4 servings) Ground beef ........................................... 1 lb Panko (or bread crumbs) ......................... ½ cup Whole Milk ............................................ 4 tbs Onion, finely chopped ............................ 1/2 Egg, beaten ........................................ 1 Salt .................................................... pinch Pepper ............................................... pinch Red wine ........................................... 2 tbs Vegetable oil for flying Soy Sauce ........................................... 1tbs Ginger, grated ..................................... 1tsp Daikon, grated ..................................... ½ cup Direction 1. Soak Panko in milk for 5 minutes 2. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, Panko with milk, onion, egg, sale and pepper. Mix well by hand. 3. Make four meat balls and toss each ball from one hand to the other hand repeatedly. Make four hamburger patties and indent the center of each one with a finger. 4. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and fry hamburgers over medium heat for a few minutes covered. Turn over and add red wine. Cover with a lid again and fry the other side for a few minutes or until the hamburgers are done. 5. Mix soy sauce and ginger in the leftover sauce in the pan. Cover the hamburger with the sauce, and then top with grated daikon. |
