Ingredients (4 servings) Japanese Rice, uncooked ............................ 1 ½ cup (or 2 Japanese cup) Taro (satoimo potatoes) ............................. 6 Miso ......................................................... 2 tbs Water ....................................................... 2 cups Sake ........................................................ 3 tbs Directions 1. Peel Taro and cut it into quarters. 2. Put rice in a sauce pan or rice cooker and add water and sake. 3. Place taro on rice. 4. Separate miso paste into small portions and place on rice and taro. 5. Steam the rice according to your rice cooker instructions. If you are using a saucepan, follow the directions 3-5 of How to cook Japanese rice. |
